There are many facets to this story, only one of which is the use and abuse of Wikipedia.  The golden rule at St. Andrew's is to use Wikipedia (if your topic warrants this kind of site) as a jumping off point, but if you are citing a source on Wikipedia you must find a secondary source to back up your citation. Yes, that means twice the work but better safe then sorry!  As a critical evaluator of information you can't afford to cite sources that are not reliable!
