We were honored to have had Bryan Stevenson visit campus on January 17. As author of Just Mercy and Director of the Equal Justice Initiative, Mr. Stevenson inspired us to think deeply about being proximal, changing the narrative, remaining hopeful, and allowing for internal discomfort. Practically, the work EJI does has led us to consider children in prison, mass incarceration, the death penalty, and racial injustice. In lending support to this work, our display in the library offers relevant, timely and timeless works. We hope you have some time to come in and peruse!
