Library Lovers Week

library lovers week
This week marks a special celebration - Library Lovers Week. Libraries are more than just buildings filled with books. They are vibrant spaces where minds are nurtured, imaginations are sparked, and knowledge is freely shared. Today, many public and school libraries are losing funding and closing. We here at the Irene duPont Library are incredibly  fortunate to continue offering invaluable resources to our students and faculty.
Libraries are sanctuaries and provide places to study, focus, and create. Whether you're searching for a nook to focus on an assignment, brainstorming with your classmates on a project in which you are collaborating, or diving into a best-selling novel, libraries offer an environment of serenity that is hard to replicate. With our wide variety of books, journals, and digital documents, our library is a treasure trove of information for our community.
We recognize the privilege of serving as a space where both students and faculty can access resources that enhances their work and education. In a world that's increasingly turning to digital, libraries remain essential in their role as a community hub for discovery and growth. Let's continue to celebrate these quiet but powerful spaces that shape our future.
