On January 20th the United States recognizes Nobel Peace Prize winner Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s contributions to our nation's quest for equality for all its citizens. Instrumental to the American Civil Rights Movement, Dr. King's words, speeches, actions are represented in this Library display. Take the time to be inspired by a sermon, or a short chapter in one of his books. Also to be noted is the tremendous work done by Stanford University's Martin Luther King, Jr. Research and Education Institute, which includes the Online King Papers Records Access database as well as a tremendously detailed King Encyclopedia and great primary documents.
